Police have arrested a man in Mayes County in connection with the deaths of a pregnant Mustang woman and three others found in an Oklahoma City house fire.
David Allen Tyner, 28, faces six complaints of first-degree murder filed Tuesday in Oklahoma County. Tyner turned himself in at the Mayes County Sheriff's Office later Tuesday, Master Sgt. Gary Knight said.
“Mr. Tyner knew at least one of the victims, however the motive for the killings is still unknown,” he said. “Investigators do not believe that Mr. Tyner acted alone.”
Oklahoma City firefighters found the bodies of three women and one man while responding to a house fire at 5:20 a.m. Nov. 9 in the 1500 block of SW 56th Street. Two of the women have been identified. Milgarous C. Barrera of Mustang and Moore resident Brooke Phillips, both age 22, were both pregnant and died of gunshot wounds, Knight said.
The other two victims have not been identified.
“It has been determined by fire investigators that the blaze was intentionally set,” Knight said.
Several Oklahoma City police investigators are working with fire investigators and the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner's office on the case. A tip line has been established specifically for this case.
“We have received a lot of tips,” he said.
